Randy Gonzales
Owner/Head Instructor

Professor Randy Gonzales is the head instructor and co-owner of Believe Jiu Jitsu, known for his dynamic teaching style and deep passion for the art.
He earned his Black Belt under Professor Danny Stolfi and the world-renowned AOJ team, building on a foundation of excellence with his previous belts awarded by 6th Degree Black Belt and World Champion, Milton Regis Almeida.
Holding a Master’s Degree in Science, Professor Randy brings a unique blend of academic knowledge and practical application to his instruction. His expertise in anatomy, physiology, and range of motion enhances his approach, helping students of all levels move more efficiently, train smarter, and prevent injuries.
Whether you’re a casual practitioner or a dedicated competitor, Believe Jiu Jitsu offers a welcoming, family-oriented environment with something for everyone. Conveniently located inside Charleston Family Martial Arts, our schedule includes Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Karate, and soon, Kickboxing.
Uniform Policy
✅ Our uniform policy is black and white Gi only & black no Gi only. During all classes basics, fundamentals and advanced classes we require WHITE and Black uniforms. For Open Mat any color Gi and No Gi is acceptable
This helps promote and healthy and clean appearance, but it also help with uniformity.
✅ We do not require you to purchase Our brand uniforms, but we ask it be free of Other Academy Brands and Logos.
✅ 🛸 👽 🙏We ask that all uniforms be cleaned before and after training, especially if you are training more than 1x a day.
We ask you to used a rash guard under kimono
NO GI dress codes policy is black shorts and rash guard. We highly recommend using spats or compression pants and rash guard to reduce the spread skin irritation and infections. (Males)YOU MUST WEAR SHORT OVER YOUR LEG COMPRESSIONS
